I have been with Parasol since 2005 and after speaking with Parasol’s friendly and knowledgeable team, I felt confident they would be the right choice. If I have any problems or queries, I know that a quick phone call is all I need to help solve any issue. When I hear “I’ll ring you back” it doesn’t fill me with dread! More recently, Parasol suggested moving my contracting activities to a limited company under their sister company, ClearSky Accounting. The moving process does require a few steps, but Clearsky made the transition as smooth as possible. The on-boarding team were really helpful and I was allocated a personal accountant who now looks after me. I’ve not been operating like this for long, but the early signs look good and I hope this relationship will be as long and successful as I had with Parasol.
I have been a contract writer and content editor since early 2014, and have used Parasol from the start. I can't fault the company's service, and even when an error has previously been made by a third party, Parasol has sorted it. As well as the customer service staff being helpful and incredibly speedy at responding, the online payment portal is a joy to use. I wouldn't say many could go far wrong in choosing Parasol as their umbrella agency.
I was first introduced to Parasol by a recruitment company and I was pleased with their recommendation. From my very first phone call with Parasol I could tell that I was dealing with a professional and reliable company. The team answered all my queries and clearly explained the processes involved in becoming a contractor. Any worries I had immediately melted away. Every time I’ve dealt with Parasol I’ve had quick responses, clear direction and the person at the other end of the phone has always been polite and patient. I never dread getting in touch. In addition, Parasol’s intuitive online portal allows me to submit my timesheets and expenses with ease, meaning I can concentrate on my assignments.
