As leaders in the payroll solutions industry, we strive to make the lives of agency partners as easy as possible. One of the ways in which we accomplish this is by keeping you up to speed and guiding you through all of the latest legislative changes.
The impending change outlined in the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses (Amendment) Regulations 2019 means that agencies are now responsible for issuing Key Information Documents to agency workers. To make this process as easy as possible for you, we’re delighted to announce the launch of our Key Information Document tool.
What is a Key Information Document?
From April 6th 2020, the government is introducing a regulation which means that agency workers must be provided with information pertaining to their contract by their employment agency or business before accepting their assignment. This is a measure to improve transparency.
How do I issue a Key Information Document?
Currently, this new responsibility means additional administration for agencies, as all information must be manually entered into templates. But we’re here to help, thanks to our Key Information Document tool.
How does the Key Information Document tool work?
We created our new tool with the aim of simplifying the process and relieving agencies of the administrative burden. Creating a KID document is simple:
- Make an account which allows you to create and save your own templates, or search for a pre-existing template.
- Input all relevant information relating to the worker, their contract and any other important financial details. To aid the user, these figures will default to standard fields, such as 7.5 hours per day and minimum wage.
- Once all of the information has been input, the KID tool will generate a Key Information Document based on the calculations made. This can be saved and sent to workers as necessary.
